This is a problem I brought up several months ago. The sidewalk has been closed off forcing people to walk in the street. The rubble needs to be cleaned up and the wall repaired in a timely fashion.

The Street Department had the mess cleaned up on 5/12/2023. The weeds were cut and the debris from the failing section of the retaining wall were removed and hauled away. The traffic control devices were left in place as a safety precaution. The wall is in need of replacing and is currently in the design stage. Once the design is completed we will be awaiting funding to reconstruct the wall. If there are any questions feel free to contact the Street Department at 505-726-2041.
